3 Important Spiritual Things to Do This July, and Prayers to Command the Month of July

Today’s Readings

Genesis 8:4  – And the ark rested in the seventh month, on the seventeenth day of the month, upon the mountains of Ararat.

Numbers 29:12 – ‘Then on the fifteenth day of the seventh month you shall have a holy convocation; you shall do no laborious work, and you shall observe a feast to the Lord for seven days.

Nehemiah 8:14 – They found written in the law how the Lord had commanded through Moses that the sons of Israel should live in booths during the feast of the seventh month.

Mark 6:31 – And he said to them, “Come away by yourselves to a desolate place and rest a while.”

Psalms 37:7 – Be still before the LORD and wait patiently for him; fret not yourself over the one who prospers in his way, over the man who carries out evil devices!

Reflection

Welcome to the Month of July

This month, there are three things the Lord is laying in my heart, and I wanted to share them with you.

But first, you’re aware that we just finished the 31-day Gratitude challenge. The instructions were simple:

1. Look away from the many bad things in the world now, and your many challenges
2. Do not listen to the voice of the devil in the air.
3. Come before God and give thanks and pray for others for 31 days.
4. Bother less about your personal petitions. You can share with others and let them pray for you. But don’t just pray your personal prayers. Go around or use our website here to collect prayer requests from people and pray for them.

For 31 days, I led hundreds of people in the daily Facebook audio broadcasts, and we just gave thanks and prayed for others.

In the feedback, many said it wasn’t easy not worrying and praying their personal prayers, while many said it was a reminder of what they learned in their Churches.

Whichever defines your situation, this is something we should do from time to time.

Every believer should occasionally, maybe once every month or so, declare seasons of:

• This coming seven days, no begging God anything or making personal petitions. I will just give praise and dance before God and remember His goodness,  or

• This coming seven days or thirty days, I will only pray for others and nothing else.

These are two disciplines believers should practice more often. These disciplines will change your life every time.

Why?

Because…

1. Praying for others is a seed that will come back to you when you least expect them, and
2. Praise is the completeness of prayers

So those were the instructions we set about carrying out in the last 31 days. And to the glory of God, we just finished that on the 1st day of July 2020.

Hundreds of people joined me in the broadcasts. If you couldn’t follow the broadcasts, you can still listen to them on the group and use them to pray and declare over yourself.

Praise God for healing

I joined the 31 days of praise and gratitude challenge. I listen every night Colombia time. I always had bad knees. When I go upstairs or walk downstairs, my knees hurt, but I noticed that since yesterday when I go upstairs and come down, my knees are not hurting like before. The pain was gone; I even can stoop lower when doing exercise. Since the gratitude challenge began, I stopped asking God for the healing of my knees, I began to praise God and give Him thanks for my healing. Thank you, pastor Daniel, for leading such an excellent program. I have read some of your books and your wife’s book as well, but I just recently started to listen to the broadcast, and it has been a blessing to me. God bless you.

Healing of Anxiety

Thank you, Pastor, for your prayers. I wanted to give God glory because I joined the program on the 6th day, and by day 12th, I had started seeing a difference in my health. I noticed one day that it was nighttime, and I had not taken anxiety medicine, and I just kept praising and thanking God. It has been two weeks now, and I have had to take it once. Symptoms have dissipated, and I am now starting to experience the hope and peace of God again in my life… Thank you, Pastor, and God bless all that you are doing, and keep you strengthened and provide all you need for your work.

Blood Pressure Normalized

Thank you, Pastor Daniel Okpara, for praying for me. I sent a prayer request during the praise program. To God be the glory, my blood pressure has normalized. I am healthier now. God bless you.

New Job

Thank you, pastor, for this program. A few months ago, I told you about going for an interview. You prayed for me. This month of praise, the employer called me, and I have been offered the job. Pastor, the best part of it all is that this job is all I wanted: better pay, more free time, and sweet conditions. God bless you, sir.

Miraculous Healing

God healed me yesterday, pastor. While the broadcast was going on, I sent a comment asking for prayers for healing. But I noticed that while you were ministering and we began to shout Jesus, the healer, I was healed. I am completely well now. God bless you for this program.

You see, I  have always believed that if you want to see God do fearful things in your life, learn to wait before Him in praise.

Continual, unstoppable praise is the highest form of prayer and spiritual warfare.

Okay, back to this month’s prophetic focus.

July’s Prophetic Focus

What am I focusing on this month of July, and what are the three things I want you to do this month?

I just did a small study about the seventh month in the Bible. It came up with many references, but some things struck my heart while doing that…

1. It was a time of rest
2. It was a time of blowing the trumpets (Trumpets signified warning of danger, calling for readiness for war, and or praise to God
3. It was a time of gathering to the king

Here is my takeaway from the study and what I believe God is saying to us this month on an individual level…

1. Rest more this month, and give yourself more to meditation (Fast if you can)
2. Be ready for anything. Be ready. Be ready. Be ready.
3. Gather yourself to the King (God) and continue to give yourself to praise.

This is not the time to focus on self, self, self.

Look away from yourself and begin to see the broader, bigger picture.

I don’t know how to tell you this clearly but be ready. Anything can happen in the nations going forward. But use this month to prepare yourself in prayers. I like to use the words, COOK YOURSELF IN PRAYERS

You need to hear God yourself.

I believe something is brewing up spiritually, but God will allow us to prepare for whatever it is, and this is the month to gather ourselves unto Him and get ready.

As an insight into what I mean: an angel of the Lord appeared to a sister I know very well and told her that more destruction was coming and that the Church was not ready. I know this sister very closely and know she would never make anything up.

I, for one, have never liked doomsday kind of preaching. I steer away from it as much as I can, but we must understand that God gives warnings too, not to communicate fear, but to get us to prepare and come back to Him.

• If you have been thinking of fasting, or spending time to rest, or wait on the Lord for anything, this is the month to do it.
• If you have been thinking of reading up on certain scriptural subjects, this is the month to do it.
• If you have been thinking of doing self-deliverance so that you can shake off all the demons of confusion in your mind and spirit, this is the month to do it.
• If you have been thinking of making peace and settling with someone, this is the month to make that call for peace.
• If you have been thinking of starting a new business or getting a new job, this is the month to get inside your room and prayerfully put the plans together and think through things, and watch for God’s time of planting in the months to come.
• If you have been thinking of shedding weight through exercise, fasting, and prayers, this is the month to give time for that.

Prepare yourself, spirit, soul, and body. You’ll need all the mental energy and strength you can get for the months ahead.

I earnestly desire that you will hear the voice of God clearly this month, and, yes, you will be healed this month as you take more time to rest, fast, meditate, and praise.

Prayers to Command the Month of July

1. Heavenly Father, I thank You for the gift of another month, the month of July. Thank You for Your protection and provision. Thank You for keeping us safe and not allowing the will of the devil to prevail over our lives and families. May Your Name be glorified forever and ever, in Jesus name.
   

   ---

2. Father, Lord, in this month of July, empower me to walk before You in holiness and purity. Uproot from my heart every seed of impure thoughts that lead to words and actions that defile. Make me Your vessel empowered for good works throughout this month and beyond, in Jesus name.
   

   ---

3. I decree today that I am a vessel of gold, created for honorable purposes. I am empowered for good works that God prepared for me even before I was born. I will walk in God’s will for my life every day, in Jesus name.
   

   ---

4. Today, O Lord, I come against every invisible barrier the enemy has raised against Your plans and promises for my life. I come against every attack on my health, finances, and my family; I declare them terminated today, in Jesus name

5. Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, I command all the barricades, obstacles, and hindrances that the devil has raised against me and my family, preventing us from accessing our financial breakthrough, I command them to be destroyed today, in Jesus name.

6. May all spiritual and physical barriers against the doors God has opened for me and my family to excel be shattered today, in the name of Jesus Christ.

7. Today, I come against every demonic opposition in my workplace. I come against every demonic conflict in my family. I come against every evil attack and plantation in my home and marriage; I end them today, in Jesus name.

8. I command every power assigned to fight and delay my blessing, breakthrough, and promotion to become paralyzed and destroyed today, in Jesus name.

9. From this day forward, I begin to receive the manifestation of my financial breakthroughs, supernatural connections and promotion, peace that passes understanding, and speedy advancement, in Jesus name.

10. I put an end to every form of stagnation and delay in my life henceforth, in Jesus name.

11. Every ancient demonic barrier raised in my family, be destroyed today in Jesus name.

12. In this remaining half of the year…

• I shall recover everything the enemy has stolen from me.
• I shall excel in all that I do.
• I shall advance in God’s will and purpose for my life.
• I receive grace and wisdom for speed in life
• I shall advance and make unusual progress in all areas of life
• I shall dwell in God’s presence every day of my life.
• Good news will surround me
• There shall be no loss
