Mental laziness is looking for an easy way out. Not becoming better at what you do in order to attract better results.  Looking for shortcuts or not refining oneself every day.

2 Timothy 2:15 – Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth.

Ecclesiastes 9:10 – Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with your might; for there is no work or device or knowledge or wisdom in the grave where you are going.

Proverbs 13:4 (TLB) – Lazy people want much but get little, while the diligent are prospering.
