Prophetic Declaration and Prayers to Command the Month of June

Welcome to the month of June

It’s our month of gratitude.

Although looking at everything happening everywhere right now, gratitude seems to be the last thing to talk about.

Not with the COVID-19 situation. Not with the recent racist killing. Not with the present riots and protests. Not with the many ills in my own country and many other places at the moment.

Why should we talk about gratitude now?

On a lighter note, someone said, “I think we should uninstall the year 2020. It seems to contain a virus. Let’s install another year already.”

I even asked myself, “Wait a minute, Daniel, do you mean to say that we really have to do this gratitude thing this month?”

But the question is this, “If not now, when?”

When should we talk about gratitude?

I think the devil is trying so hard to keep us in the worry and fear trap. He is working so hard to make us see reasons to murmur, quarrel, and look away from God’s goodness. He’s got good partners in the media, and they’re doing all they can to ensure we never have reasons to think about faith, prayer, and God’s love.

That’s why I feel in my heart that this is the right time to talk about gratitude.

The Sacrifice of Praise

Gratitude and praise do not usually cost us anything. It is our response to some actions that benefit us directly. For instance, when God has blessed us, healed us, helped us, given us children, spoken to us, and protected us, we feel generous toward Him and praise Him.

The motivation is there because there is a reference to a benefit received. At such times, we can sing, worship, testify, and declare how good He is – because we can see something He has done.

That kind of praise, while very meaningful and commanded, does not cost us anything.

Then there are times when God did not come through to us the way we thought He would.

The health tests come back positive.

The spouse continues to want a divorce despite the many days and months we have prayed.

The kids are still misbehaving.

The business turns out bad.

The landlord won’t just understand.

The mortgage firm calls in the loan.

There seems to be so much confusion around us

You pray, confess sins, cry, wail, get hands laid on you, send prayer request to Pastor Daniel and other ministers, but God seems far away.

Sometimes your prayers come back hitting at you.

Then the minutes turn to hours, then to days, then to months.

Nothing.

“What have I done to deserve this?” you ask.

Beloved, that’s when praise and gratitude is a sacrifice.

“By him, therefore, let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.” – Hebrews 13:15

When circumstances continue to scream at you, and you’re trying to figure out how to get going, praise and gratitude is your next best route.

To praise God in those times requires a will to surrender to God’s plan no matter what.

When we chose intentional praise in the face of unanswered prayers, we choose to believe that, yes, even though, at the moment, life is not going as we desire and pray it should, God is still a good God, and can be trusted.

This month, God is reminding me that when the battle is fierce, gratitude and praise is the way forward.

I have stood face to face with demons that refused to leave their victims irrespective of all manner of binding and loosing prayers done. Then all of a sudden, as praise and worship began to go up, the demons flee.

I have stood before awful health situations where we prayed, commanded, administered the anointing oil, gave the Holy Communion, and it seemed we are done. Then we began to praise and worship, and then in a few days, there is healing.

Beloved, when the battles of your life are fierce, turn to praise and worship.

And there’s no better time to pause everything now and say, “Look, Satan, God is good. I am not moved by everything that I see at the moment.”

Sign the gratitude deal

We are declaring a thirty-one day of gratitude challenge!

We have enough bad news already.

Let’s turn to God with a heart of praise and gratitude and show the devil that our God is still good.

This is the time to say to everyone, “Yes, we know that God will deliver us, but just in case we ain’t seeing it already, we’ll still trust Him, and we will never bow to the idols of fear and negativity.”

When we choose to praise God despite the visible storms, He is honored, and our faith and worship grows deeper.

I will be leading everyone who tunes in to the daily broadcasts to praise God for thirty-one minutes every day for thirty-one days.

Prayer for Grace to Praise God

O Lord, teach me to offer You a heart of thanksgiving and praise throughout this month, and in all my daily experiences of life henceforth. Empower me to be joyful always, to pray continually for others, and to give thanks in all circumstances.

Today, I break every power of the enemy in my life. I declare that through my offering of praise, every battle before me will be leveled, in Jesus name, I pray.

Amen.

1. Heavenly Father, thank You for the gift of another month, the month of June. Thank You for keeping and preserving our lives in Jesus name.
2. This is a month You have made Lord, I will rejoice and be glad in it, in Jesus name.
3. Father, baptize me with the spirit of gratitude this month, in Jesus name.
4. I come against the spirit of worry, anxiety, and fear. I put on the cloak of faith, courage, and boldness all through June, in Jesus name.
5. I decree in the name of Jesus Christ, the heavens are open for my favor and blessing this month. My expectations shall be granted.
6. My prayers shall be answered, and I shall have great peace in Jesus name.
7. I bind the demon of racism, intolerance and discrimination. I claim peace over our nation, in Jesus name.
8. I speak to the month of June to bear fruits for me in Jesus name.

Declaration of Praise

O LORD, with gratitude and submissive wonder, I will bless Your name forever and ever.

Every day, I will bless You and lovingly praise You; Yes, with awe-inspired reverence, I will praise Your name forever.

Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised, and His greatness is so profound, unsearchable, and incomprehensible to man.

My generation shall praise Your works to another, and shall declare Your mighty and remarkable acts.

On the glorious splendor of Your majesty and on Your wonderful works, I will meditate.

I will speak of the power of Your awesome acts, and with gratitude and I will tell of Your greatness. They will overflow like a fountain, and they speak of Your great and abundant goodness

I will sing joyfully of Your righteousness.

Lord, You’re gracious and full of compassion, slow to anger and abounding in lovingkindness. Your tender mercies are over all the entirety of things created.

All Your works give thanks to You and praise You, Lord, and Your godly ones bless You…

Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and Your dominion endures throughout all generations.

You, LORD, uphold Your own, and raise up all those who are bowed down.

Those whose eyes look up to You, You provide for them in due time.

You open Your hand and satisfy the desire of every living thing.

You are righteous in all Your ways, and gracious and kind in all Your works.

You are near to all who call on You in truth.

You fulfill the desire of Your children, those who fear and worship You with reverence and obedience are never put to shame. You hear their cry and save them.

My mouth will continually speak the praise of the Lord, and all flesh will bless and gratefully praise Thy holy name forever and ever, in Jesus name.
