 Reflection

It’s our resurrection month.

The Spirit of God says: “Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon thee.” (Isaiah 60:1)

One of the greatest mysteries of Christ’s resurrection is that we can’t fully explain the mechanics. But it did take place. It happened.

The proof of His resurrection is our evidence of victory over the powers of the devil.

You can pray this powerful prayer today with knowledge and begin to command resurrection in every aspect of your life.

“LORD, Jesus Christ, I believe You rose from the dead. I believe You are alive. I am certain You have given me power to represent You here on earth. Today, I speak to my life. I speak to my finances. I speak to my marriage. I speak to my mind. I speak to my business.”

Mention specific things regarding any aspect of your life and command it to arise and shine

“If the devil could not keep Jesus Christ in the grave, he cannot keep me in his cage.”

That’s the mindset I want to implant in you this month.

Repeat that:

“If the devil could not keep Jesus Christ in the grave, he cannot keep me in his cage.”

The Power of PUSH Praying

PUSH in my usage here stands for Pray Until Something Happens. You can also substitute it for Praise Until Something Happens if that is what you’d prefer

Read this story and let’s proceed

⁴⁶ Then they came to Jericho. As Jesus and his disciples, together with a large crowd, were leaving the city, a blind man, Bartimaeus (which means “son of Timaeus”), was sitting by the roadside begging. ⁴⁷ When he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to shout, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!”

⁴⁸ Many rebuked him and told him to be quiet, but he shouted all the more, “Son of David, have mercy on me!”

⁴⁹ Jesus stopped and said, “Call him.”

So they called to the blind man, “Cheer up! On your feet! He’s calling you.” ⁵⁰ Throwing his cloak aside, he jumped to his feet and came to Jesus.

⁵¹ “What do you want me to do for you?” Jesus asked him.

The blind man said, “Rabbi, I want to see.”

⁵² “Go,” said Jesus, “your faith has healed you.” Immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus along the road. – Mark 10:46-52

Did you notice that the guy’s mind was made up on getting healed?

When he prayed first – “Son of David, have mercy on me…..”

Jesus didn’t stop.

The multitudes created a distance between him and the Savior. He needed to do something about the multitude. He needed to get through them.

Many people today are suffering from a spiritual distance. God has heard their prayers. But the enemy has created some distance between them and their answers. All they need to do is continue pressing hard.

Say with me:

I command every spiritual distance between me and the angels with answers to my prayers to disappear today, in Jesus name.

Nothing Can Stop You Without Your Permission

A few days ago I had a back and forth text message with a beloved sister. (Note: Personal details are edited out)

SHE: “Good morning Pastor. Tomorrow I have a court date for eviction from my home. My finances still have not been released and I have fallen behind on all my bills. Please join me in prayer for a breakthrough turn around in my favor.”

ME: “Do you want to be evicted? If you do, great. If you don’t want that, then no one can evict you, in the name of Jesus Christ. I am in agreement with you…”

SHE: “I absolutely do not want to be evicted! … I’m commanding satan to release and restore my finances immediately. I demand a 7 fold restoration today. .. While I sound tired from being beaten black and blue with attacks I’m actually fighting. I refuse to be pushed around anymore.

ME:  “…In the name of Jesus Christ, go and have victory. I stand in Isaiah 54:15 and send confusion in the camp of the enemy, in Jesus name.”

Much later in the day she texted:

SHE: “The case was dismissed but thank God the homeowners relented in asking for more than they were owed!… I’m going to hammer Satan with prayers until he releases my money!!

I don’t care the verdict that satan is shouting through situations, if he could not stop Christ from resurrecting, He cannot stop you from manifesting.

We need to stop praying with a fast food mentality. Prayer does not work like “fast food.”

We pray, “LORD, Please get me healed, in Jesus name. Thank YOU LORD.”

And if it doesn’t happen immediately we say, “Well, looks like I’m gonna die after all”

Friend, it’s not so.

When you pray, you need to press your way through the crowd. You need to press your way out of the noise. You need to outshout the noises and voices of the devil trying to get you stuck with your unfavorable condition.

“Many rebuked him and told him to be quiet, but he shouted all the more, “Son of David, have mercy on me!”  – v48

Just look at that

For some of us, that first time we pray and Jesus seemed not to take notice was enough to resign.

But Bartimeus won’t take any of that. When people rebuked him, he fought back.

He shouted the more.

The guy was done begging. “If this Jesus really did all the miracles I have heard before now, then I must get Him to talk to me. You guys can’t stop me”

That was his mindset.

When the devil brings up people to shut you up and tell you it’s normal to go through the problems you’re going through, you thank them for their opinions and suggestions, but you go home and pray some more. And you don’t stop until the power of God is made manifest in your life.

That’s what I call PUSH

PUSH praying is not some kind of “LORD, please I need to have my peace of mind, please help me, LORD.”

No.

You say…

“LORD Jesus, I thank You for the sacrifice YOU made for me to have salvation, deliverance, healing and prosperity. It is not Your will for me to be troubled and attacked by the devil. So I’m not going to accept this condition. Whatever is responsible for this pain I’m going through, must leave, in Jesus’ name.

I claim divine resurrection in for finances

I claim divine resurrection in my marriage.

I claim restoration in my health.

And you keep Praying Until Something Happens

…until you have peace within you that this matter is done.

The Devil is Fighting Hard to Stop You

This is not a mere religious statement. There is a spiritual war going on against your life. There are principalities and powers who have vowed never to allow you receive your healing, deliverance and breakthrough.

You’ve prayed many times and consulted many ministers who also prayed. But it still looks like the same story.

Beloved, it’s because there is a spiritual resistance going on against your life. You need to start pushing back the forces of darkness. You need to arise and say, “enough is enough.

The devil cannot kill your marriage, he cannot kill your children, he cannot kill your business, he cannot kill your peace of mind, he cannot kill your home.

Don’t let him.

This month, begin to command the power of Christ’s resurrection into any aspect of your life that is being threatened.

Get enveloped with a holy anger against every form of demonic activity trying to keep you down.

In this month, you must rise and shine, for the light is come; the glory of the LORD has risen upon you.

The thing is if you don’t rise, you won’t shine.

That is, you must stop complaining and start sending fire into the camp of your oppressors.

“God is not testing you with sickness, setback, sleeplessness, lack, debt and financial scarcity. The devil is the one resisting you.

Hit the enemies back now.
