The Mystery of Spiritual Gates: 25 Urgent Prayers for the Year, 2021.
For he said to Judah, “Let us build these cities and surround them with walls and towers, gates and bars. The land is still ours because we have sought the Lord our God; we have sought Him, and He has given us rest on every side.” So they built and prospered – 2 Chronicles 14:7
In the year 2005, I relocated from East to West. I moved from Imo State to Lagos State. And that was a significant move for me.
The day I came to Lagos, I did something the Lord had shown me its significance.
I stopped at the border leading into the state, removed my shoes, brought out my anointed oil, poured it on the ground, and began to make decrees. I started to decree, saying:
- This land will favor me
- I shall not die in this land
- My glory must shine in this land
- I will excel in this land
- In this land, my testimony must be heard
- I shall never be stranded.
- Etc
Okay, the truth is that I got many onlookers wondering. Many may have presumed that I was the latest mad man in town. Others who felt I was praying may have wondered why I was getting that extreme.
But I have learned to possess my possessions regardless of what anyone feels. As long as I am not infringing on someone’s right, I will take my possessions by some spiritual violence. And I think you do need some spiritual violence some times.
You see, while I do not encourage you to do exactly as I did when relocating to a new city, especially if there are laws against such stuff, I want you to understand something called spiritual gates.
Thus saith the Lord to his anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I have holden, to subdue nations before him; and I will loose the loins of kings, to open before him the two leaved gates; and the gates shall not be shut;
I will go before thee, and make the crooked places straight: I will break in pieces the gates of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron. – Isaiah 45:1-2
Every town, city, state, or nation has a spiritual gate. And at those gates are spiritual gatekeepers.
There are angels and demons at the gates of every city. Until your case is pleaded at the gate and your victory declared there, you may not experience the level of success and breakthrough you desire in that city.
Yes, you can make prayers from any point and address the spiritual city gates, but you can proclaim your victory faster when there is contact between you and that point.
Why am I sharing this story?
As I was planning to write you a mail yesterday, the Lord brought this mystery to my spirit and asked me to talk to you about the power of spiritual gates. I might be doing a full book on that soon. But do well to research on it.
It is not only cities, towns, states, and countries that have spiritual gates that we must possess. Your life also has spiritual gates that you must know and close against the devil and open for the Lord. The days of the week, months, and years also have spiritual gates.
The gate into 2021 is open from midnight of December 31st. The things you say from that time until everyone starts their regular routine is critical.
You must be alert to possess the gate of the year spiritually before the year starts. That is why I call on you to make these decrees from midnight of December 31st leading into January 1st, 2021.
Pray these prayers in addition to any other prayers you have before 6 AM on January 1. I would recommend that you start praying them by exactly midnight, but if, for any reason, you can’t, then make sure you say these prayers before 6 AM.
Prayers to Possess the Gate of 2021
Read out loud, Psalm 24, 27, and 138:1-3
Declare:
I stand at the gate of 2021 and declare that God is the Maker of heaven and earth.
God is the Maker of times and seasons
This year, 2021, is God’s creation.
Everything God makes is good.
The year 2021 is going to be a great year for me and my family.
I declare God’s praise over the year, today, and forever.
I declare that God’s praise and glory shall fill this year
His praise and glory shall fill my life and family,
In Jesus name.
I declare before the gods, the angels, and all principalities and powers … that God’s name shall be glorified in my life and family this year, 2021.
This year, all my prayers will be answered, and all my past seeds turned into harvests of testimonies for me.
I declare that God cares for me and every member of my family (mention their names).
When troubles arise, God will keep us safe, and He will oppose and stop the enemy and his agents,
In Jesus name.
At this gate of 2021, I decree and declare that…
This year (…..), I will walk in dominion.
Because I am made in God’s image and likeness.
I have God’s nature and the Holy Spirit.
God has given me authority over the powers of the sea, the powers of the air, and the powers of the land.
I am in charge.
I rule and reign.
This year (…), I will be fruitful and increase in number.
I will expand in business, career, ministry, and influence.
I will fill the earth with my testimonies.
I rule, control, overcome, and have dominion over the fishes in the sea, the birds in the air, and over every living creature that moves on the ground.
The blessings of God are upon my life and household this year (…)
The earth will yield her increase for us.
Wherever we go and whatever we do, we will excel, and our influence will be visible to all.
Everything God has made is good, so this year will be good for us.
We will never become victims of sickness, lack, scarcity, pain, terrorism, attacks, and death, in the name of Jesus Christ.
This year, (…), our peace, good health, and prosperity shall be multiplied.
Even if the evil powers of the heavenlies, of the seas, and the grounds are shaken, and darkness covers the earth and gross darkness the people, we will be spared.
I will be safe and secure.
My household will be safe and secure.
And we will excel and shine because the Spirit of God indwells us, and God’s glory is being revealed upon us and through us.
This year (…..), I will never be out of a job.
Jobs, opportunities, and openings will abound for me and my household.
And we will not labor in darkness.
Nations will come to our light.
Kings will come to see the glory of God upon me, and my testimony shall draw men and women unto the Lord.
This year, (…), my spouse and I shall grow stronger together.
Our children shall be drawn to the Lord, and all they that are connected to me shall be supernaturally protected, preserved, and provided for, in Jesus name.
This year (…..), the abundance of the sea shall be converted unto me.
The prosperity in the heavenlies shall flow into my household.
And the blessings in the land will locate me supernaturally, every day.
My vision, business, career, and contributions shall be recognized in high places.
And I shall be divinely recommended for promotion, celebration and all kinds of good things, in Jesus name.
This year (…), I, my spouse, children, and everyone connected to me shall have an abundance of health, peace, love, and financial prosperity.
We will share with others, from the abundance of our supernatural supplies, wealth, peace, good health, and the message of salvation.
This year, we are distributors of kindness, goodness, peace, faith, love, and all the fruit of the Holy Spirit.
This year (……) money shall serve my family and me.
Scarcity shall be far from us.
When others say there is not enough, we shall be sharing from God’s excess in our care.
Through the mercies of God, we will find help and support in our times of need.
This year (…), all the broken places of my life is going to be rebuilt.
By God’s strange intervention, I will experience restoration in every area of my life.
I will no longer lose anything in my life and family.
I will see restoration in my marriage, relationships, and career.
My children will call me blessed, and I shall be a blessing to them and everyone around us.
